In a Temporary Forest
Ever since I watched Singapore Standard Time, I’ve been fascinated with this idea of Singapore’s imported trees being an analogy for us wanting everything to exist immediately, sometimes sacrificing the time needed for something good to grow roots.
And with all things instant, there’s always a trade-off.
I’ve been eyeing this “temporary forest” for a while now. I managed to spend some time on a “recce” yesterday evening.
Katri, who was on her evening walk, was kind enough to volunteer for some photographs.
I definitely want to return soon to make more pictures. Hopefully, it is not that temporary of a forest.
